B usy Bee Editing is a business owned and run by a two-person team who provide proofreading, editing and graphic design and services to businesses, individuals, authors and university students as well as other entities worldwide for some time. Although we are based in Struisbaai in the Western Cape, we service clients throughout South Africa as well as internationally, via digital networks. From our humble beginnings twelve years ago with our first proofreading and editing assignment we have grown over the years and we will continue to grow as a small business.
An author’s first novel is a minefield, and Busy Bee provided me with high-quality professional editing, proofreading, layout and cover design that was seamless and affordable. I will use them again and recommend them to all, including my writers’ group.
I am looking forward to working with them on more of my books.
I sincerely thank you both for the editing, proofreading and layout of my thesis. Your work was of high quality. The service was efficient, quick…
We have had such a pleasant experience working with Brenda and Hugo. Their level of professionalism and their quick turnaround times really have us ‘hooked’.
As an established internationally best-selling author, I know the value of hiring a professional editor to proofread and edit your manuscript. With his excellent editorial skills, Hugo Chandler, the owner of Busy Bee Editing, picked up the nitty-gritty of my grammar, syntax, and punctuation and revised and reworked particular sentences and paragraphs. He specifically improved my paragraph flow, tenses, voice, and readability. He made sure that my book, The Unfakeable Code®, is ready for publication and for touching the hearts and elevating the minds of millions of readers. He is a superb editor, so I recommend Busy Bee Editing wholeheartedly.
You are a darling! Thank you!
I appreciate your support at my book launch; it means a lot to me.
Working with Brenda and Hugo has been such a blessing. They helped me tremendously, and my writing has never looked better…
