Editing Challenge – A Big “thumbsuck”

More and more, Busy Bee Editing is being approached to decipher and proofread text that has been translated using a translation program. This can be frustrating as these automatic translation programs often produce meaning that is far from what the author originally intended. Thus we have had to become adept at “thumbsucking” to produce a document that keeps as close to the original meaning as possible, and flows well as English.
