As technology advances by leaps and bounds, the advantages of having the ability to be comfortable in technological terms, such as knowing how to access information via social media platforms like instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X; making use of AI skills to build your own website or build and drive a video presentation promoting a business; are becoming more and more valuable every day.
Likewise; with the help of AI, one can learn a second or even a third language and gain enough proficiency in a language to get directions, read roadsigns or find a restaurant, for example.
The world of information is wide-open to all these days; particularly the young, enabling them to access knowledge that they can leverage to: start a business, make a fortune or travel the world; such that anybody, young or old can satisfy their dreams, and all they need is a laptop!
Wow – what a statement that is! hackneyed as it may be, and here is another one; The world is your oyster .

The other thing that might strike you right between the eyes is that in view of all the political power-broking, scamming and persecution of minorities that is going on; that we all know about … you might consider that the traditional growth path that previous generations of humans followed; with advice such as: Get educated, Get a job, Find a partner have 2 and a half children and Be Happy Ever After; is becoming increasingly unviable for most.
There is no guarantee that the country you were born in will continue to support you, due to unscrupulous persecution of the citizens that live there – by oligarchical rulers who oppress people’s lives for their own personal gain.
For example; in South Africa, where my partner and my partner live; a law has recently been passed by the Government of National Unity – Expropriation Without Compensation, that has totally destroyed all property rights; such as kicking you out of the home your family has owned and lived in for generations or taking the watch off your wrist, just because your racial group happens to be in the minority.
In 2010 South Africa was the ‘darling’ of the world as they celebrated the momentous events, driven by hard work and creative endeavour of hosting the Soccer World Cup. How far we as a country have fallen since then!
Racism, which was supposed to have ended in South Africa in 1994, continues to blight the lives of all South Africa’s citizens. Racist laws have allowed the ruling government to persecute minorities; especiality the white people, more and more in the last 15 years; to the point where recently, almost daily, white farmers and their families are being brutally tortured and murdered, by black criminals, who then illegally occupy the farms.
What the stupid government we are cursed with doesn’t realise is that the path the country is on can only lead to more and more poverty, persecution, cruelty, destruction of family life and an economic, depression the like of which has never been seen since the Great Depression of 1929 in the US.
In the US, gangs of people who I regard as criminals are snatching naturalised immigrants whose families have lived there as bone fide citizens of the US, for no reason other than the fact that their skin colour is different than that of the government.
Donald Trump, who regards himself as having the God-given right to do exactly as he pleases, is alienating countries, who previously were allies, friends and trading partners of the US; by his outrageously stupid tariff policy, is decimating the lives of working class, poor people or military veterans; many of whom have worked all of their lives to gain the wherewithal to have a comfortable and safe retirement.
He is putting the whole world in jeopardy of having to face world war 3 destruction, to satisfy his ego and greed, if he is not stopped – and the amazing thing is that he told everyone of his intentions that; if they voted for him to become President, he would save America.
– And They Believed Him and Gave him the Right to Do it!
So; if you are not lucky enough to have inherited Generational Wealth; you might already have chosen and acted upon a different track.
You may have realised that as a Digital Nomad; you can live anywhere, work anywhere and do exactly as you choose in this life – So armed with your laptop, make the most of the opportunity that has become available to our present generation that allows you to chart the direction of your life without having to become a slave to corporate leaders, a piece of property and a car that is owned by the bank and governmental regulation that restricts your ability to run a business your way.
