AI HAS TAKEN THE WORLD BY STORM, BUT THERE IS AN UPSIDE

AI developed so fast that it caused a shockwave that threatened factory workers and owners, farmers, especially; especially smallholdings; as well as academics and creators across the board.

Many academics feared that platforms such as ChatGpt would replace humans in occupations such as copywriters, authors, call centre operators, engineers and people in myriad other fields, including English language editors like ourselves, proofreaders, video creators, artists and many other creative people whose livelihoods depend 0n on their being able to flex their creative muscles.

Thus, Brenda and I decided to do a deep dive to find out what was going on.

What we found was that the exact opposite was true. We discovered that the key to surviving the AI onslaught was and still is adaptation and exploring new ways to benefit hugely from AI development.

Benefits of AI.

• AI can be used to save time and money by taking advantage of AI generative expertise to further your business
• To improve spelling and sentence construction
• Generate creative ideas for writers to benefit from; such as using AI graphics to enhance text
• And even write articles for writers in fields they are not familiar with – however, we do not advocate that students should overuse these facilities verbatim because plagiarism watchdog sites will detect such overuse and impose penaties
• Start a side hustle to enable your family and household to have a better quality of life, e.g. create a vegetable garden, or start a creche for pets at your home so families will know that their pets are safe while they are at work.

These are just a sample of the tools that can assist writers, editors, and families in general. The wonderful thing about these platforms is that they are often provided FREE!
