WOW! I woke up this morning to see Mayor Cilliers Brink very upbeat and bubbling over with enthusiasm as he proudly recounted the DA’s progress in the city of Tshwane after weeks of being attacked from all sides by the BREAKERS as JOHN STEENHUIZEN describes them, who were intent on finding ways to get rid of Brink as mayor, as he has been doing too good a job; thereby thwarting the breakers from reversing the progress made.

He summarised some of the progress the coalition has made so far, which is still ongoing in Tshwane. He mentioned producing the first credible plan in 20 years for getting water to taps in Hammanskraal; as well as cleaning up of streets in Tshwane, which was achieved because of coalition officials who stood up to-sub contractors, who hitherto had not wanted to comply with performance standards. He also mentioned that the city’s finances were looking much better, which he exemplified by stating that the city had managed to pay Eskom 3 months electricity payments in a row.

He said that he had the utmost confidence in the coalition; going forward, as well as the wonderful relationship the coalition government with the deputy mayor; who is effectively also current leader of Action SA.

Prince Mashele, State Of The Nation podcast’s’ primary political commentator recently spoke about positive actions that new ministers in the GNU had been taking since their appointment to cabinet. He spoke of the ‘New Energy’ that was being shown in the country recently, in contrast to the lackluster attitude and complete lack of energy being shown by ANC ministers.

He stated his opinion that the middle class in the country is rejecting the ANC; particularly in the urban centres.

He went-on to say that the middle class was getting angry at the way the ANC ‘gang of criminals’ have been allowed to ruin the country for so long.

My question is – Why has it taken them so long to get angry at the way the population of the country has been exploited by the SO-CALLED ELITE ???; who live a life of luxury while the poor majority in the country have to starve.

He says that the middle class are now fed-up with the country not being governed by the far more rational middle class. Again, I ask – Why are they only asking those questions now?

The sad reality is that the majority of the South African people have been brainwashed by the ANC’s LIBERATION FAIRY STORY that they have become so soft mentally, that they don’t even realise that they should have gotten off their backsides 25 years ago and voted the ANC out then. instead of believing the ANC’s LIES ABOUT COLONIALISTS, APARTHEID BEING THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL, BLACK CITIZENS HAVING A GOD-GIVEN RIGHT TO LAND WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT, BEE, CADRE DEPLOYMENT etc the list goes on and on …

The good news is that it appears that finally, the majority of South Africans who have more than one brain cell, have after 30 years, finally come to realise that the country can only achieve a better life for all its citizens, if we all; black, white, pink or green, WORK TOGETHER ON A BASIS OF MERIT AND CAPABILITY; to remove obstacles to growth, put the criminals into prison; prioritise education and training and get rid of the criminal mafias.

In a recent podcast wherein Frans Cronje was interviewed by Mike of State of The Nation Frans Cronje, a highly respected political commentator and expert on polling in South Africa Cronje indicated that he believed that the GNU had a good chance of holding until the next general election; provided that the radical left comprising the EFF, and the MK party didn’t manage to radicalise the leftist leaning population to the point that they disrupted a large proportion of the electorate. He said that the middle classes would probably continue to support the GNU for the next few years by improving the growth rate, stabilising the currency and encouraging overseas investment and that if that happened, the GNU would probably remain in power for the next decade.

(** stop press ** – 11 HOURS AGO – Cilliers Brink defended his position on the matter of the vote of NO Confidence in him as mayor – by disgruntled sub-contractors who were upset about losing their totally unjustified privileges, due to their previous failure to perform according the mandate given to them by the City of Tshwane. Herman Mashasaba of Action SA is supporting the No Confidence Vote – thus indicating that he is on the side of THE BREAKERS!)
