You opted for Trump, who for some reason, you saw as a charismatic leader; a ‘Man’s Man’ who you thought would lead you all to the Promised Maga Paradise, dubbed Make America great again and now the masses of Republican Idiots have come to the shocking realisation that a nightmare has replaced the wonderful future you had hoped for.
You are saddled with a Fascist Dictatorship, run by a simpleton bully who has appointed a motley collection of lunatics. to do his bidding. As fast as he appoints his sychophantic Maga followers to the proposed government, they are chucked out, mainly due to multiple infringements of the law such as sexual abuse, financial mismanagement, leading to fraud, discussing confidential information with contacts in Russia, and meddling with the medical profession, thus posing a great risk to the quality of the medical profession in the US and elsewhere.

Here are some examples of the kind of people Trump is planning to employ, including some who have already left:
Matt Gates; Already gone. He left after resigning from the Senate to avoid complications arising from alleged sexual misconduct.
Tulsi Gabbard; National Intelligence Director – allegedly a Russian agent under Putin has been nominated as Director of National Intelligence.
Kristi Noem; nominated as Homeland Security Secretary. She has limited experience of national security; the story goes that she shot to death an “untrainable dog” that she said she hated, on her family farm. Abuse and hatred of animals is a characteristic found in the early life of serial killers.
Peter Navarro; Nominated as Senior Counselor for Trade and Manufacturing – was jailed for refusing to cooperate with the investigation of the City Capital Insurrection of January Sixth against the Capitol Building in Washington DC.
Robert F Kennedy Jnr; Was arrested for marijuana possession and was expelled from two boarding schools.
Pete Hegseth; Secretary of Defence. He bribed a woman who accused him of raping her in 2017 – to keep her quiet. His colleagues at Fox News are concerned about his excessive drinking. Even his mother said that she thought her son Pete did not have the right character to be Secretary of Defence
Tom Homan – Border Czar.
Trump’s intention to deport all undocumented immigrants is a very risky strategy as such people tend to end up working for construction companies who are undertaking large projects, that form a significant portion of the US GDP. If large numbers of undocumented immigrants are sent back to their countries of origin, it will seriously negatively affect such companies’ bottom lines. A large proportion of America’s population comprises immigrants; so, by alienating immigrants, Trump and potentially Patel are striking at the hearts of America’s people, so perhaps they should think twice about that one.
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramiswami. These two billionaires have been nominated to jointly head the Department of Government Efficiency. What does that even mean? It seems to me that this is Trump’s way of giving unlimited powers to these two people so they can meddle in other departments’ business by acting as Trump’s proxies; finding ways to get rid of people he does not like, push unpopular policies that Trump does not want to take responsibility for, and generally cause chaos in the administration.
Trump’s foreign policy seems to be to intimidate and insult leaders of foreign countries such as President Trudeau who recently had to put up with a threat from Trump, wherein he stated his intention to annex Canada; which is a sovereign country, and appoint Trudeau as Governor there. since then he continues to address Trudeau as Governer.
Despite his boastful claims to stop the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, once his inauguration is complete; that seems extremely unlikely to happen in view of the fact that Trump is rapidly becoming a laughing stock among Russians, who clearly have lost all respect for the former US President; even going so far as to post nude or semi-nude photographs of his First Lady and wife, Melania Trump on social media.
The war in Ukraine is taking a terrible toll on the citizens of Ukraine and Russia, as Putin continues to push troops and missiles forward into Ukranian territory; using conscripted Russian soldiers as well as their allies – North Korean soldiers who are being used as “cannon fodder”, to allow the main body of troops so they can continue advancing.
Putin’s problem is that Russia is losing troops, military hardware and fuel at an alarming rate. The Russian currency, the Rouble is losing value fast, causing the cost of food and other necessities of life to rise. Consequently, inflation is rising. To make matters worse, Russia is now in the throes of extremely cold wintry conditions.
Ukraine’s President Welensky will continue to send missiles and drones to attack Russian targets; particularly military bases and oil refineries. The Ukranians have an advantage over the Russians, in that they are receiving more modern weapons, tanks and drones from the Uk and NATO, and are better trained.
The drones are highly efficient; including the latest innovation; cardboard drones, which carry and deliver powerful bombing strikes on the enemy; dubbed “Origami drones.”

As regards the future of Ukraine; the scenario that seems most likely in light of current events, such as the fact that China under President Chi has warned Putin not to fire any nuclear weapons; as well as the huge losses of manpower, weaponry, damage to military bases and morale on both sides – that the UK, the US, France and Nato members will continue to support Ukraine in their efforts to hold back the Russian territorial advance. Over time, the Ukranians, assuming that they continue to receive support; will be able to wear down the Russians and maintain some stability.
In the meantime, one can only hope that some kind of ceasefire; perhaps incorporating a neutral non-combat zone will be instituted to maintain some kind of peace for now.
If an interim compromise agreement is reached between Russia and Ukraine that will be good news for Russia and bad news for Ukraine because the lull in hostilities will allow Russia to regroup, beef up its armaments and restore morale among the people; which will then allow him to prepare for a continuation of hostilities later-on.
thus, it is probably be a good idea for Ukraine to continue the fighting for now, if they can, knowing that Russia is on the back foot, economically and militarily right now; so as not to lose the advantage they currently have.
Putin is without a doubt in a tight corner; although it seems unlikely that he will press the”big red button”, there is always a chance that out of pure desperation, and the fact that he is losing credibility at home in Russia and in many other quarters, that he will do so.
What comes to mind also, is the number of similarities between the US situation and ours in South Africa.
Both countries are being led by autocratic tyrannical presidents, who don’t care a damn about the rule of law or democratic principles, continue to maintain the financial security and power base of the extremely wealthy 10%, of the population, at the expense of the poor and middle-class majority of citizens. Both of these men are bullies; who, like all bullies, when confronted by strong opposition, back down and find ways to put the blame for their nation’s problems on others. They both surround themselves with sychophantic flunkies, who follow their leaders’ instructions for as long as they can continue to line their own pockets.
