Trump, Musk’s and all their sycophantic billionaire buddies’ plan is now working perfectly. Using Doge, they are controlling the US Treasury. They are drastically cutting back on social spending, including medical services, firing Federal employees all over the place, cutting funding to military veterans, ruthlessly, sometimes violently arresting people they deem to be illegal immigrants; many of whom are not in fact illegal, and cutting-back on safety measures to protect passengers on airliners.
These people have no moral compass whatsoever. They do exactly as they like. Everything they do is based on lies and propaganda. They are experts at painting pretty pictures of a glorious future for the average American, which are completely false versions that disguise what they are really up to. Their only aim is to put money and power into their pockets and take advantage of millions of people; many of whom end-up sick, destitute or dead.
They make a complete mockery of the American Dream, the sacrifices made by American heroes, the selfless work done by first responders, legitimate policemen and women, doctors, honest civil servants and members of the military services.
US airline companies are bearing the brunt of accusations that caused and are still causing hundreds of aircraft crashes, due to the lack of aircraft traffic controllers who were fired by Doge employees, some of whom were replaced by incompetent people who had no clue what they were doing or by rehired staff who had been fired by useless 19 – 24 year old Doge employees.
As a result, the US is now in turmoil everywhere. Democrats are protesting right along with disillusioned Republicans, and angry Republicans are aggressively voicing fury at how the Oligarchs are ruining the country; in Town Hall meetings and in the streets; and inevitably the rest of the democratic free world.
THE PANAMA CANAL
One of Trump’s many ill-advised targets for attack may very likely fall flat on its face as the current drought in Panama has reduced the volume of shipping through the canal. A further likely development that will negatively affect traffic through the canal is the projected CIIT railway line that will link the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
The only bright light on the horizon, surprisingly, is Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the UK who seems to be spearheading a move to unite European nations that are protecting and supporting Ukraine financially and militarily against Putin in his war against Ukraine – for the long term. Putin’s war in which he has been been widely adjudged as the aggressor for about 3 years, is clearly a blatant attempt to keep Ukranian territory that Russia has invaded, including the Crimean peninsula; as well as being aimed at furthering Russian imperialism and Putin is constantly looking for opportunities to extend Russia’s territory.
The group of countries dubbed The Axis of Evil, which includes Russia, North Korea and Iran is clearly a huge threat to The West. So, it is gratifying to see how major European countries are banding together to combat this menace.
SOUTH AFRICA
South Africa’s President Ramaphosa, seems to be trying to repair friendly relations with the US, after the aggressive stance he adopted after Trump stopped all aid to South Africa. Trump had shown his displeasure at Ramaphosa”s action when he recklessly signed the Restitution Without Compensation bill.
South Africa made another stupid mistake when Ramaphosa accused Israel of a crime against humanity at the International Criminal Court for attacking the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Maintaining friendly relations with Russia, North Korea and Iran is also not very smart; particularly in light of the fact that all 3 countries have nuclear capability. South Africa is playing with fire because if Ramaphosa does not play his cards carefully, the country could well be seen as part of the Axis of Evil, which will then put South Africa clearly in the gunsights of pro-Ukranian democratically inclined European countries.
His attempts to cosy-up to Trump in the US seem to be bound to fail, as Trump is at the moment not a fan of South Africa, especially now; due to Ramaphosa’s reckless signing of the controversial restitution bill. Also, Ramaphosa is not generally regarded as a skillful and effective diplomat. He has now been widely revealed as a President who makes pretty speeches but does nothing.
Another huge mistake that Ramaphosa made was to lodge a complaint against Israel with The International Criminal Court; accusing Israel of genocide against the Palestinian People in Gaza. This put Trump and South Africa firmly in place as a country that is supporting Palestinian terrorists in Gaza; which also places South Africa as allegedly an ally of countries that support the Axis of Evil.
As an observer, I can’t help but notice the parallels between South Africa’s position under the ANC and America’s position under the totally crazy President Trump; with his illusion that he is in a position to take over the world as the leading oligarch in a collection of misguided oligarchs, including George Bezos, Valdimir Putin, Bill Gates and himself.
Trump seems to have totally missed the point that the rest of the democratically and primarily capitalistically-driven leaders of countries such as Canada, Mexico, The UK, Germany, and Poland and many other smaller European countries’ totally reject Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin and Iran’s leader, Ali Khamenei of Iran’s vision of a world dominated by totalitarian oligarchs; who want to dictate how the rest of us want to live.
Likewise, President Ramaphosa of South Africa is still living in a dream world where the ANC still has a prospect of ruling the country by perpetuating the ANC’s archaic belief in a society wherein transformation using racist BEE principles will still work today.
His policy during the last 30 years has been a dismal failure. The ANC’s latest polling in 2025 shows 32%. Ramaphosa refuses to change the ANC’s policy; so an educated guess shows that if they continue on their present course, they wiil become totally irrelevant very soon. Coalition government is here to stay in South Africa.
THE NDF – NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION
P.S. – I just watched an interview wherein Magnes Heystek a prominent investment advisor and commentator in South Africa; commenting on what the DA is up to at present; and he openly confessed that he did not know; but he expressed his view that the DA, although they are doing an excellent job of improving services they preside over in their various portfolios they ; that he was aware of the possibility that they could be colluding with the ANC in promoting policies of the NDF (National Democratic Revolution) for the ANC. Undoubtedly, this conjecture could mean that by using their influence in fields such as agriculture (John Steenhuizen) and Public Works and Infrastructure) (Dean Mcpherson), besides improving services for the public, could be covertly playing a double-game, by simultaneously furthering the aims of the NDF. The ANC; possibly together with Steenhuizen, is moving slowly down the road towards turning South Africa into a socialist country.
President Ramaphosa and the rest of his cadres in government need to realise FAST! that by attacking our allies such as the US, and Israel who are still supporting us in extensive reciprocal trade, which brings in desperately-needed foreign currency and investment, he is hastening our decline as a country into the dustbin of history, and severely harming South African citizens of all stripes in the process.
